Yes, donations to our organization are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Upon request, we provide donation receipts for tax purposes. Please consult with your tax advisor for specific guidance.

Please package donations in sturdy boxes or bags to prevent damage during transportation. While sorting items is not necessary, please ensure that items are not expired or damaged.

We cannot accept homemade or unpackaged food items, opened or partially used products, alcohol, or items that are severely damaged or expired.

Donated items are distributed based on the individual needs of those we help.

Yes, we accept financial donations in person, online or through the mail.

While sorting items is not necessary, bringing items in a box or bag will help with the donation process.

We cannot accept opened, partially used products or alcohol.

Donated items are sorted and stocked in our “store” for families to shop for their monthly groceries.

We try to post on Facebook and our website if we have specific needs above or beyond our donation list.
Volunteers

We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for all ages and abilities.

No prior experience is required to volunteer at our food pantry. We provide training and guidance for all volunteer tasks to ensure you feel confident and comfortable in your role.

Yes. You will receive training the first time you volunteer with us. We will provide instructions and guidance to ensure you understand your role and responsibilities.

You will sign in and out each time you volunteer at WARM. If you have your own timesheet, we will sign off on that each time also or we can provide one on our letterhead.

Absolutely! We appreciate volunteers who can commit to regular shifts. Whether you are available daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, we can accommodate your schedule. Please let us know your availability. See our Volunteer page today

Yes, we welcome group volunteering! Whether you're a corporate team, school group, or community organization, we can accommodate group opportunities. Please contact us to schedule a time for your group.

We have a parking lot on the North side of the building for volunteer use.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to volunteer independently. However, minors may volunteer also with parental consent and supervision. Some volunteer tasks may have additional age requirements due to safety or task complexity.
Probation

Yes. We accept cash, money order and cashier’s checks. You will receive a receipt at that time.

No, we cannot accept personal checks for probation payments.

Yes, but only online through our Probation Payments page. We do not accept credit cards at the office.

You will need to read the CSR Guidelines and fill out the volunteer form. We will get back with you to get you on the schedule.

We can accept food as a donation (make sure you bring your receipt), but your probation officer MUST approve this beforehand.

You will sign in and out every time you come into WARM. We will also sign your timesheet, each time, that the probation office has given you.
