Our History

In 1996, Central Church of Christ and other churches in Wise County saw a need for one location as a central food pantry. They decided to combine efforts and merge into a local outreach which became Wise Area Relief Mission - WARM. In 1998, WARM moved into its current building and has since become the largest food pantry in Wise County. Also benefiting from WARM's food pantry are Jack and Montague County residents.

WARM strives to offer compassion and aid to any family who, for no single reason is suffering from financial or other setbacks.

..if you open your heart to the hungry and provide abundantly for those who are afflicted, your light will shine in the darkness, and your gloom will be like the noon.
— Isaiah 58:10
